PTO Newsletter - December 2021

Happy Holidays!

The SFE renovation project is well underway and there is lots of energy in the building. After a somewhat quiet start to the calendar year, we're wrapping up with lots of activities.

Here are some updates from our December PTO meeting:

  • We have lots of activities planned, including concerts, spirit days, holiday parties and assemblies.
  • The PTO was happy to provide a box lunch for the teachers and staff before Thanksgiving and will also host a holiday breakfast.
  • The Fouls for Feinstone fundraiser was a huge success, raising over $1,500 for the Neighborhood Outreach Foundation. And, the students had a lot of fun in the process.
  • The students, staff and even the parents attending the PTO meeting looked super comfy in their pajamas and raised over $4300 to support CHOP.
  • It's winter concert time, SFE winter instrumental orchestra and band concerts are Thursday, December 9 and the SFE winter choral concerts are Tuesday, December 14.
  • Due to weather and construction, we may end up with more indoor recess than usual this winter.
  • We always need volunteers. If you want to help, please send a note to SFEPTO1090@gmail.com and make sure your clearances are current and on file.

Please plan to join us for our next PTO meeting at 9:15 on Friday, January 7 in the SFE APR.
